Kenny Mitchell grew up on a family farm in Finchville KY, and quickly became a prominent member of the Shelby County community.  He began his Real Estate career in 1990, after managing the historic Lerman's Department Store for 27 years. 

Kenny has been a member of Kiwanis for 51 years and held title of President two times.  He has served on several boards including Living Waters Christian School, Operation Care, Father's Love,  Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown Merchants.  Not only does Kenny volunteer time and energy to these wonderful organizations, his office is decorated with numerous awards and plaques. He has been Shelby County Board Realtor of Year, Hometown Hero by Shelby County Board of Realtors, and Finance Chairman for Veteran's Memorial Park in downtown Shelbyville. 

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 6 children, 12 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandkids.  He is a devoted  member of Living Waters Church. Although Kenny stays busy, he is never too busy for referrals.
