Kimberly McIntosh is a native of Louisville but recently relocated to her husband’s hometown of Shelbyville, Kentucky.

My interest in real estate began shortly after purchasing our first home, though it wasn’t until 2007 that I became a full-time real estate professional. Over the past decade, I’ve been dedicated to helping my clients with either the sale of their current home or finding the home of their dreams. I continue to build my business through loyal clients and referrals because of my friendly customer care, knowledge of the real estate market, and ability to think outside the box. From first-time home buyers to new construction to down-sizing and everything in between; I’m dedicated to serving my clients best interest. As the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran helping members of the military and their families holds a special place in my heart.

When I’m not working hard for my clients I can usually be found spending time with my family, co-leading my Girl Scout troop, or vacationing somewhere with warm weather and a beach. I’m an avid lover of books and coffee; not necessarily in that order. Being from Louisville where there are restaurants in abundance I’m a self-proclaimed “foodie”. My most recent personal project is working with my husband to cultivate a self-sustaining homestead on the five-acres we just purchased.

New Construction - With more than 5 years of experience as a builders’ representative in new construction I can guide you through the entire process. Building a home can seem overwhelming. I’m here for my clients from interviewing builders, finding lots, going through the building process, and past closing.

First Time Home Buyers - One of my favorites because I remember how the excitement of purchasing our first home. It is very rewarding for me to know that I helped someone achieve their own piece of the American Dream. It is my privilege to help first time home buyers through the entire process of buying a home. I assist with everything from finding a lender, finding the perfect house, making an offer, negotiating, the closing, and everything in between.

Military - Did you know that there are special financing programs available for our active and inactive members of the military?  The most common are VA Loans which allows our service men and women to purchase a home with $0 down payment.  These loans do have some nuances that are unlike other home loans.  As a real estate agent who has helped many of our service men, women, and their families I can help navigate the process.

Up-sizing/Down-sizing - From growing families, to empty nesters, to multigenerational living, as the years go by our needs change. Whatever the reason for a change, I can help by helping you sell your current home at the best price possible and finding your next dream home at the most affordable price.

Country Property/Acreage - Kentucky has some of the fastest growing counties in the country, most of which are still rural. Want the country feel with the urban amenities? Whether you are looking for 3 acres or 300, purchasing a farm or building your dream home, I can help.
